Your policy is governed exclusively by the law and jurisdiction of your country of residence.

By entering into this contract of insurance the policyholder (i) acknowledges having been informed about the Luxembourg professional secrecy obligations and having read the secrecy waiver document accessible here and (ii) explicitly accepts to waive SI Insurance (Europe), SA’s professional secrecy obligations to the extent and under the conditions set forth in this secrecy waiver.

Your Traveller Details

Single Person - One single person who is named on the policy.

Couple - Any two adult persons (including same sex) who are married, in a civil partnership or in a common-law relationship or who have co-habited for at least six months..

Family - Any adult couple (including same sex) who are married, in a civil partnership or in a common-law relationship or who have co-habited for at least six months and all dependent children aged up to and including 17 years at the date of purchasing the travel insurance.

Single Parent Family - One adult and all dependent children aged up to including 17 years at the date of purchasing the travel insurance.

Single Trip

Cover for one trip or journey starting when you leave home and ending when you return to your home. During your journey you can travel between as many cities and even countries as you wish, provided you have chosen the correct territory.  May be purchased by any person up to 89 with trip length limitations for older ages.  Details in Frequently asked Questions – click here.

Stay Longer - Single Trip

You can purchase a single trip policy if you have already left your country of residence, provided your country of residence is in the EU or EEA, and your Europesure policy has recently expired or is about to expire and you wish to extend your trip. The cover has limitations:

There will be no cooling off period; Cover for pre-existing conditions will be the same as your previous Europesure policy; There is no cover for any illness or injury you suffered during the period after you left home and before the start date of the “Stay Longer” policy; the policy must be for the whole remaining period of your trip until you arrive back in your country of residence; the full period of your trip away from your country of residence including both the period of cover for your previous policy and the period of cover for this “Stay Longer” policy must not exceed the single trip policy maximums for your age. You can purchase a single trip policy if you have already left your country of residence, provided your country of residence is in the UK or Gibraltar, and your Europesure policy has recently expired or is about to expire and you wish to extend your trip. The cover has limitations:

Annual multi-trip

Cover for multiple trips during a 12-month period, subject to residency requirement, provided not individual trip lasts longer that the maximum number of days per individual trip that you choose when buying the policy. During your trip or journey you can travel between as many cities and even countries as you wish, provided you have chosen the correct territory. We regret that we are unable to offer cover if you are travelling to Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia or Ukraine or any country or area to which the Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) has advised against all travel.

There is no cover under Section 2 - Medical Expenses and Repatriation, whilst you are travelling within your Country of Residence. Cover under all other sections applies if your trip is away from your home and involves at least two night’s stay in pre-booked accommodation, or travel arrangements that have been pre-booked with a commercial carrier.

Worldwide excluding the USA and Canada
Cover anywhere in the world but excluding Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Ukraine and the USA and Canada.
